Service Manager, Quay Foyer
£34,000 per annum plus car allowance
Quay Foyer is dedicated to assisting some of the most at-risk young individuals in the area as they strive to achieve their aspirations and move towards independent living. These projects provide a comprehensive approach to addressing the housing, personal growth, and training requirements of young individuals, primarily those aged 16 to 25.
We are now looking to recruit a Service Manager for this service.
Managing a multi-disciplinary team, we will support you to deliver motivating, engaging, safe, high-quality accommodation-based support services to young people. You will be responsible for motivating your teams and ensuring they can bring their whole selves to work and deliver for our young people. You will play a key role in nurturing our partnerships with commissioners and Local Authority stakeholders, ensuring that our services consistently meet quarterly Key Performance Indicators. Additionally, our Service Manager will cultivate connections with local community organisations to ensure the best possible results for the young people utilising our services.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience of managing or supervising a team that is working with young people within a similar role.
 - A natural relationship builder with the ability to motivate, influence and inspire your team to achieve great outcomes.
 - Knowledge of homelessness and the impact on young people.
 - Experience of partnership working with specialist agencies such as mental health teams and the youth offending services.
 - A thorough understanding of Safeguarding practices for vulnerable people and managing the risks associated with Safeguarding.
 
Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
